Multi Locus Sequence Typing of Campylobacter
An MLST system has been developed in the laboratory of Dr. Martin Maiden,
Peter Medawar Building for Pathogen Research, University of Oxford, in
collaboration with Prof. F. J. Bolton and Prof. A. Fox of the Public Health
Laboratory Service.
Preliminary findings and methods have been published.

Sequence Typing System for Campylobacter jejuni. Journal of
Clinical Microbiology (2001) 39 (1), 14-23.
This project is funded by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural
Affairs (DEFRA).
We are planning to develop an integrated system together with several other
interested groups in the UK and elsewhere.

This publication made use of the Campylobacter Multi Locus Sequence Typing website (http://pubmlst.org/ campylobacter/) developed by Keith Jolley and sited at the University of Oxford (Jolley & Maiden 2010, BMC Bioinformatics, 11:595). The development of this site has been funded by the Wellcome Trust.
